Pulse employee Brittani Acuff.

Brittani  Acuff was not at Pulse on the night of June 12th. It was 2:07am when she first heard about the shooting. A friend was on a police scanner saying 20 are dead. She searched online for news about the shooting. The first online news came from Canada and France. She knows the layout of the club. Someone was up in the office and had to come out that way. She studied broadcast journalism at the University of Mississippi so her first reaction was wanting tog to the scene. She as talked out of that idea.

Brittani is a pretty straight laced heterosexual woman. Friends and family didn't understand why she liked to work for Pulse. She was attracted to the exciting and exotic life of Pulse. She attends the Methodist Church a cross the street from the Doctor Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. She felt a surge of pride when the church rang its bell 49 times during the Pulse vigil.

She hopes that the horrible night will inspire people to follow their passions. Anything can happen. Don't let others hold you back. Hopefully Orlando can grow after the tragedy. It already has in many ways. The amount of crowd source support for those in need has been staggering.
